A variety of bats skimming the water while I was on an evening canoe;
A deer drinking from a lake down a logging road where there was no one else around;
A whole bunch of big toads out in the dark in Moores Meadow;
A porcupine on a residential street a few blocks from where I live;
A family of river otters at the mouth of the Crooked River;
A mother bear and cub crossing Foothills Blvd on the way home from Pidherney.
I also saw a variety of ducks, a couple of herons and the northern lights, twice.
