Stupid thaw portion of freeze-thaw
Here comes the thaw portion of freeze-thaw. Earlier this week I was skiing before work, now I slipped on ice in my driveway and hurt my knee because all the snow is melting into ice. Stupid thaw. It’s fine, I’m fine.

The number of Bohemian Waxwings (they are a bird) went from 8,000 during last year’s Christmas bird count down to just 400 this year. The culprit? A lack of delcious Mountain Ash berries, which get those birds drunks.
B.C.’s Representative for Children and Youth is warning that while it makes sense to put less money into kids in custody since there are fewer kids in custody, she’s worried there could be a negative impact from closing down the Prince George youth custody centre if the money saved isn’t reinvested in outreach programs in the north.
