Let’s start with the obvious one: local Conservative MPs don’t like the Liberal government’s budget *shocked Pikachu face*.
Over on Reddit, it appears a lot of people don’t like the Exploration Place’s redesign and are placing the blame for some of its financial problems on eliminating the play area and making it feel less accessible to families.
In Darrin Rigo’s latest newsletter, he writes about how he doesn’t like the fact that in a city ostensibly seeking affordable housing and a reduction in sprall, NIMBYism managed to prevent 220 affordable housing units from being built in an existing neighbourhood because “ew, trailer parks”.
According to her Instagram post on the subject, the organizers of a recent concert didn’t like Amy Blanding getting too political in a new song but she opted to play it anyways.
And while I’m sure many people are excited about it, a lot of College Heights residents don’t seem to like the details of a new off-leash dog park announced by the city yesterday for a variety of reasons ranging from “too small” to “bad owners.”’

It's not a real dog park anyway. One tiny update: the wildfire is near Edson, not McBride (whew - McBride is gonna have a rough one this year with the state of their water supply watershed, and a fire is the last thing they need rn).
