I don’t know if this is true but apparently Ice Cube spent the night at the Treasure Cove?
His opener, Peter Jackson, astarted posting from the PG Cougars training room at around 4 pm.
Later he hit the stage wearing a jersey:
He also was posting from the front by the time Cube took the stage, shortly after 9 pm
I’m sure he also posted from the afterparty he was hosting at Ignite later on. I’m here for the era of major rappers’ entourages showing up and dispersing throughout the city from time to time and am thinking I need to do a bit of a dive into Ludacris’ crew to see their impressions of the place. I’ve also become incredibly curious about the staying here situation — are these folks actually flying in commercial and staying in a hotel? Do they have private flights where they are going back to L.A. at the end of the show? Or are they on a big tour bus that doubles as a home. I don’t have insider access so send me your blind items at northerncapitalnews@gmail.com, this is a gossip letter now.

My cousin checked in to the Treasure Cove as Ice Cube was. He told her they’d been driving 12 hours so I’m guessing it’s a tour bus situation.
My gosh the original bear video was cute as heck - when I saw the sow trying to convince the cubs to venture further, and then just picked them up and hauled them a greater distance from the den, and they just kept scampering back, I'm like "yup, that seems like parenthood - wrangling sometimes-uncooperative little ones when trying to leave the house."
I also appreciate that today's song is titled "You can do it" - that's the encouragement I need first thing on a Friday lol.
