The Curtis Armstrong piece just confirmed my suspicions that the Citizen will slide further into the cess pit of right wing misinformation and anti-social/fascist thought. Notably, this piece was not published under the opinion section but in the main news section without the "Opinion: " prefix. I understand the need for someone to fund local journalism but when the publishers are so clearly and openly biased I cannot trust anything they print. Such a shame.
That opinion piece has all the flavour of a Facebook rant, minus the citations and spelling errors, and a sad attempt at linking all the policing costs to Moccasin Flats. I think? I'm not sure what that was other than to play to a specific base of readers.
